Jon Pauli and Ben Zuckerberg Promoted to Full Professors
Professors Jon Pauli and Ben Zuckerberg were both promoted to full Professors in recognition of their outstanding quality of work, scholarly impact, and productivity, as well as their exemplary commitments to teaching, outreach, and service.
Professor Pauli received his PhD from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY. After a postdoc fellowship here in F&WE, the department hired him as an Assistant Professor in 2010, and in 2018 promoted him to Associate Professor. Professor Pauli’s research team looks at the response of mammal population and communities to human disturbance with the aim of developing effective conservation strategies. Professor Zuckerberg received his PhD from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY. Following a postdoc position at Cornell University, Professor Zuckerberg became an Adjunct Assistant Professor at SUNY and at Michigan State University before joining F&WE in 2012. His research focuses on advancing the field of climate change ecology by studying the synergistic effects of land use and climate change on wildlife populations from local to national scales.
